confidence...maybe she’s born with it?
or maybe she just got sick of craving it and finally learned how to cultivate it
I’m writing to you from the road again this week. The red rock reflection of the Utah desert is fading into the distance of the dusty passenger rearview mirror. We hit the road at 6pm yesterday and we’ll be home by 6pm today. It was a short trip, but it was potent. Magical and peaceful. There is something about being in the desert that always brings me back to center. It has such a soft energy, so motherly and sweet.

We got to our campsite well after dark last night. After setting up our tent, we cozied up on our loveseat camp chair next to a fire and spent hours staring up at the incredible star lit sky. The never ending milky way always makes me feel so safe and grounded. A reminder that while my fears feel so big, they truly couldn’t be more small.
We spent today wandering around the desert, touring our venue and planning the wedding of our dreams. It all felt, and still feels, so surreal. In less than eight months …
