There is no limit to the amount of times that you can begin again in this life. Every moment of every day can be a fresh start. A new beginning. A clean slate.
‎
So when you’re feeling burdened and tired and you fall back into patterns that you thought you’d moved past—I hope you know that you don’t have to wait for Monday or next month or the new year to come back home to yourself.
‎
There is no such thing as the right time to recenter. Tomorrow doesn’t always arrive and waiting doesn’t make change any less uncomfortable.
‎
You didn’t lose all your progress. You didn’t fall too far behind. You’re not starting over. You didn’t miss your chance. You’re human. You fell back into familiar patterns because you got overwhelmed—and that’s okay. There is purpose to every chapter of your story, even the ones that feel like setbacks.
‎
There is no point in shaming yourself.
‎
Shame won’t make you into a better person. It won’t inspire you to break your bad habits. It won’t make the changes you need to make any easier or more attainable. It definitely won’t get you back to where you’re aching to be. Shame will only ever keep you frozen, stuck in the patterns you’re fighting so hard to free yourself from.
‎
If you want to move forward, you must give yourself grace.
‎
You must find compassion for the part of you that slipped away. The piece of you that was too scared to keep going. The version of you that doesn’t believe they deserve the life that you’re building. Your work is to take this part of you by the hand and remind them of the truth:
‎
You are inherently worthy of the life you desire.
‎
Self-sabotage is sneaky. By the time you realize how far you’ve drifted, panic sets in. It’s easy to think that you can and you need to change everything all at once. You tell yourself that when you wake up tomorrow, you’ll do everything you told yourself you would do today. It seems like one giant leap is the only way forward, but the belief that you have to change everything all at once is only going to keep you stuck.
‎
Transformation is never instantaneous.
‎
It happens slowly. It happens over time. It happens in the small moments, in the micro shifts. It’s a process that can’t be rushed. It isn’t easy—it’s painful. But your tolerance for change is not a switch you can flip. It’s a muscle you must strengthen.
‎
And to do that, you’ll need to learn how to trust yourself again.
Because that trust is what catches you when you fall. That trust is what allows you to make small, imperfect steps in the right direction. That trust is what reminds you that you can make a mistake and keep going. That trust is what shows you that life is not all or nothing. That trust is what tells that you don’t have to be perfect, you just have to keep trying.
‎
Change is only uncomfortable because it is unfamiliar. The more you shift, the faster you will start to adjust. And one day, you’ll look back and realize you’ve rewritten your entire story. You changed your reality, even when it felt impossible.
‎
So when you’ve fallen from center and you’re ready to find your way back, I hope you can remember that you’re not starting over. You’re returning to the work you’ve already done. And this detour? It was never a setback. It was a gift. An opportunity to strengthen your self worth. A chance to deepen your self trust.
‎
So begin now.
‎
Come home to yourself.
‎
Don’t wait for tomorrow or next week or next year.
‎
Don’t force yourself to change everything all at once.
‎
Start small and start now.
‎
Choose to believe in yourself again and watch the magic that unfolds when you do.
‎
Love Always,
Krista Marie

Wonderful text. I’d just add that by understanding the need for change, the gap between our current mindset and our desired mindset starts to dissolve, easing much of the psychological discomfort. Understanding is the key—awareness is everything.
Oh, this was *so* warm, tender, and absolutely glorious dear Krista! Thank you for such gentle, nourishing words. What a gorgeous post! ♡
